NCIA’s Community Living Homes provides housing for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them lead full and active lives in their community. NCIA has 40 residential homes throughout Baltimore County, Baltimore City, and Prince George’s County, where residents can choose to live alone or with roommates. Staff assist residents in making community connections, developing independent living skills, and promoting a socially active lifestyle. Support is tailored to each person’s individualized needs, including case management, clinical, and nursing support, empowering them to live more independently and achieve greater self-sufficiency.
“Being part of the NCIA family has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The support, collaboration, and sense of community here make every day fulfilling. I’ve had the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally while contributing to meaningful work that positively impacts others. The culture here fosters not just teamwork but a genuine connection, where everyone is valued and encouraged to bring their unique strengths. It’s inspiring to work with such a dedicated group of people who share a common goal of making a difference. NCIA isn’t just a workplace—it truly feels like a family.”
