With 25 years of work in correctional systems reforms, NCIA has
a proven track record of working with local jails, adult prisons,
and juvenile training schools to find cost-effective humane alternatives
to incarceration. We have developed a comprehensive needs-assessment
program which evaluates a person’s experience from the time
they enter a correctional system until the time they leave, and
everything in between. After reviewing all of this information,
NCIA develops programs and fiscal strategies to meet the long- and
short-term needs of the institution, the residents and the community-at-large.
Additionally, NCIA has implemented programs in Maryland, Delaware,
Hawaii, and other states to incorporate a range of options to assist
youngsters in escaping the cycle of abuse and neglect that lead
to juvenile delinquency and eventually, adult crime.
NCIA offers services including case assessment, community-based
placement, program development and tracking, data management and
more.
