For 30 years, under the direction of Dr. Jerry Miller and Herb Hoelter, NCIA has been an innovator in criminal and juvenile justice and human services by creating and supporting community-based alternatives for some of our society's most vulnerable members including:
- Educating over 1,000 youth in our special
education schools
- Providing community-based residential and vocational services for hundreds of individuals
with developmental disabilities
- Assisting over 10,000 individuals facing sentencing in juvenile and adult court
- Advancing public policy issues in the criminal justice system through advocacy and authorship
On Saturday, April 27, NCIA celebrated its 30th anniversary at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. View pictures and details of the event.
