The success of NCIA's Career Development Center is directly attributed to the team approach taken by the organization’s administration and staff. Under this approach, each program participant is assigned to, and supported by, a team comprised of a case manager, nurse, psychological associate, training instructor, job developer, and job coach, whose expertise is in the field of vocational counseling. Emphasis is placed on individual input and participation and the team bases career development plans on the individual’s values and interests.
