NCIA's Career Development Center provides developmentally disabled adults with job readiness skills and individualized training in preparation for competitive community placement. Working with job coaches trained in specialized areas, each individual receives the support necessary to prepare for community or enclave placement and to maintain quality work performance.

The needs of the individuals we serve impact significantly the training and support identified as most personally relevant and appropriate. We strive to attain the highest possible level of independence for our clients in the least restrictive environment. As importantly, our clients learn and grow in a therapeutically-sound environment that fosters feelings of community inclusion and individual self-worth.

Our goal is to foster and develop the individuals’ independent living skills so they can achieve the highest level of integration within the community. Having a job to do and a place to go every day helps increase self-esteem and decrease stress. Through unconditional care and personal attention, NCIA’s family of services helps clients discover a world of possibilities as unique as they are.
