Tom Scott joined NCIA in 2004 as executive director of clinical services where he manages the mental health and nursing services of the NCIA Augustus Institute for Mental Health – Maryland. His prior experience includes coordinating residential programs, directing psychiatric rehabilitation programs involving day, vocational, residential, and case management, and directing a community outpatient mental health center.

Mr. Scott holds a Master of Science degree in clinical social work and has received advanced training in family therapy. He is a licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical and is a Clinical Instructor at his alma mater, the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work.
